Periyar Dam Water Level: Wednesday, Dec 30, 2009

MADURAI: Water level in the Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 123.6 feet (full level 136 feet), with an inflow of 715 cusecs and discharge of 1200 cusecs.

Water stood at 56.89 feet in the Vaigai dam (71 feet), which had an inflow and discharge of 938 cusecs and 60 cusecs respectively.

The combined Periyar-Vaigai credit was 5197 mcft.
