Periyar Dam Level: Monday, Dec 14, 2009

MADURAI: The level in the Periyar dam on Sunday stood at 128.60 feet (full level 136 feet) with an inflow of 216 cusecs and a discharge of 1,418 cusecs.

The level in the Vaigai dam was 54.66 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1,176 cusecs and a discharge of 312 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 5,914 mcft.

Vaigai dam recorded a rainfall of 1 mm, Manjular dam 6 mm, Marudanathi 5 mm, Peranai 14 mm, Andipatti 23 mm, Madurai 7 mm, Sathayar Dam 16 mm, Mettupatti 19 mm, Kallandhiri 7.6 mm, Sittampatti 2 mm, Pulipatti 5 mm, Melur 6 mm, and Thaniyamangalam 11 mm.
